Earlier in the semester, we had an assignment to research pieces of information and to see if they we factual or CRAAP!

What is CRAAP?

CRAAP is a test to see is an online piece of information or news article is valid or biased.

The CRAAP test looks at 5 areas (Hence the C-R-A-A-P )

• Currency
• Relevance
• Authority
• Accuracy
• Purpose
