What Is This?

Here's my first Blog...Robots

Kamehameha Schools Kapalama high school Robotics program consists of high school students in grades 9-12 participating in the Robotics after school club or the Robotics Lab class.

Students compete in the VEX robotics competitions as well as the annual FIRST Robotics Competition held at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in the Stan Sheriff Arena. For more information, check our this year's competition, Steamworks, at http://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/frc.

  2. My boys actually participated in the Jr. Lego League Robotics for the first time this year. It was a learning experience for all of us but they really enjoyed it.

    1. Hi Jonah...Lego robotics is a great "gateway drug" in the world of robotics. If your boys are really excited, you might want to invest $200-$400 for a VEX IQ kit. It's like Lego in connections and leads into the metal VEX programming. Great for grades 4-8. Let me know how it goes and good luck!
